Foreign Trade Flows (Chord Diagram)

In honor of the looming trade war, here's a diagram I made which displays how much money changed hands in trade between the US, EU, Canada, and Mexico in 2016. While it may look like a relatively small portion of the aggregate total trade, thats still a lot of money.

Quick dashboard I threw together in Qlikview for a school assignment. Data was a survey collection of goal opinions of 4th to 6th graders in Michigan schools. A few demographic variables are also recorded.

A Few Macroeconomic Graphs in R

Collection of the graphs- and code to create such graphs- I threw together for a macroeconomics final project. Project's focus was a survey of the macroeconomic environment of the U.S. between 1995-2005 and the effects particular events within that time had on GDP, Growth, Unemployment, Trade, etc.

First go at creating a dashboard in Tableau. Data used was an example dataset of customer data from a newly formed bank in the UK. The data, and the project as a whole, was done originally as part of Udemy's Tableau A-to-Z course.

US Name Trends

Interactive D3.js visualization which allows for the input of several names and plots popularity of these names over time. Data obtained from kaggle.com 'US baby names' dataset. While this chat is interesting, it does not necessarily provide a deep look into the trends of names throughout the US and was primarily done for practice utilizing D3.js's interactive options. I also found I get an absurd amount of enjoyment in comparing name popularity after finishing this project.

US Birth Rates

Created for practice with D3.js after exploring US baby name dataset obtained from Kaggle.com. Thought it would be interesting to view the birth rates of the population in the US, split by region and state. Also included a hover function to display the most popular names in each of these respective subsets per year.
